All N95 masks are maintenance-free protective masks, limited to use. Although the N95 mask cannot be cleaned, as long as the N95 mask is not damaged, the breathing resistance is normal or reusable, and it is not a disposable mask.
N95 masks cannot be reused after washing
The root of N95 mask use time is directly related to the use environment. Generally speaking, the deodorant 3M gas masks are mostly activated carbon masks, which have dustproof functions and can filter out odors. In order to filter the odor, if you can smell the odor, you need to replace the N95 mask immediately. For dust masks, if the breathing resistance is too high, it needs to be replaced immediately.
N95 masks are made of high static filter material, which can filter particulate matter and PM2.5 in the air. Cleaning will destroy the filter cotton material. N95 masks are not allowed to be cleaned. If the following occurs, the mask must be replaced immediately:
1. The accumulated amount of dust particles is too high, the user feels that the resistance increases significantly (smothering odor);
2. Damaged, aging, damaged or malfunctioning parts (such as broken or loose headband, broken or detached head, damaged or deformed mask body);
3. Unhygienic (smell and dirt produced by wearing for a long time), or have reason to believe that repeated use of 3M masks may cause secondary pollution and infectious diseases.
