1. Clean
First use warm water and soap to slowly rub the gauze mask. The bowl-shaped mask can also be gently brushed with a soft brush dipped in detergent, and then washed with water. Warm reminder, try not to rub hard, because if the gap between the warp and weft of the gauze is too large, it will lose the function of preventing droplets.
2. Disinfection
Put the washed mask in a 2% aqueous solution of peroxyacetic acid for 30 minutes or boil in boiling water for 20 minutes or put it in a steamer to steam for 15 minutes, and then dry it for use. This type of method is mainly used for gauze masks and bowl-shaped masks.
3. Check
Before applying again, you should carefully check whether the disposable masks and masks are still intact. For gauze masks and masks, you can use the light transmittance inspection method, that is, take a look in front of the lamp and see if there are obvious light spots. If the light transmittance of the edge part is consistent, if there is doubt, it should be replaced with a new one.
In any case, the mask is usually updated after 3 to 7 times of cleaning, and the mask of particularly good quality can be cleaned 10 times. Activated carbon filter masks need to pay attention to replace the activated carbon interlayer from time to time. If the activated carbon interlayer cannot be replaced, it should be replaced after 7 to 14 days. Such masks cannot be cleaned and then reused.
